I am glad to book this hotel through a 3rd party. There weren't any issues with checking in knowing that I came a little early. I booked a room with a queen bed. It was just right. The bed is very comfortable and with enough pillows to make your sleep comfy. All the necessary toiletries were provided. I guess if you need anything, all you have to do is call the front desk. The hotel is very close to the Belmont red line station. There's a lot of restaurants nearby. My overall stay is great. I will definitely book this hotel again when I am in uptown/downtown Chicago.

I love this hotel! It gives off old style/retro vibes. The rooms are amazing, the beds are extremely comfortable with the right amount of pillows and the prices are good!! Oh, and the bathroom and showers are life!!! The elevator, however, is the sketchiest and most littlest elevator I have ever been in!! The little foot stools in the rooms are 👌. It is in walking distance to just about everything you would need in Chicago! The parking garage is like a 3 minute walk, and the price is reasonable. And all the food around that I tried was delicious. I will definitely be returning, and 10/10 would definitely recommend it to anyone.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel is right off the red line, making it easy to get most places in the city. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean. The front desk folks were efficient at getting us checked in, too. Also, my room was very quiet in spite of the business of Chicago. I’d stay here again and look forward to it.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for a quick getaway, just before New Year's. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would probably stay again if and when my travels bring me to this area of Chicago. The price in particular wasn't bad for the location. Pluses: great location next to the Belmont L station; easy walking to shops, restaurants, and bars in Boystown; friendly staff; and a VERY comfortable bed. Minuses: the building is old and shows its age at times (radiant heat, creaky floors); could use some additional vacuuming and fresh paint in common areas like hallways and stairwells; the sink dripped. Other points: the noise from the trains could be bothersome to some people (I'm used to city noises so I didn't mind); there didn't seem to be a way to control the temperature; have to keep bathroom door closed at night to block light from the street.
